Hi BBs, Normally I just use make a midi file and render to wave with my BB Tracks and move them into other music programs. But whenever I use the BB Record Audio for recording guitar or vocal tracks, Everything records fine, but the vocal or guitars parts never playback. You can watch the wav file scroll in the audio editor, but you can not hear the audio track in BB. Just the midi trachs. I can load the BB created Wav file into any other music or audio program or media player and the file plays back fine. My Power Tracks Pro refuses to install, so do not know if that has to be installed for BB to playback any BB recorded audio files. I have BB 2007 with Vista, which is buggy, since its really just the XP version with a Vista Patch. I have not upgraded since all the midi features work, and that is what I use BB for ever since the DOS version. My 2007 BB also does not recognize my Creative Soundcard Mixer, nor can it find any Windows Mixer either. But all my other music and audio programs find both mixers and their own mixers fine. Hi MidiVox, This sounds like a playback volume problem. Have you checked that the Audio volume in BIAB is fully up? It might also be that the recording volume is set very low. Recording volume is controlled by Windows. Right-click on the speaker icon, select "Recording Devices" and then choose Properties >> Levels. I always have the slider(s) fully up. Whilst in this section of Windows, it would be a good idea to check the sliders for the Playback devices, too. Also, do you have the latest update for your version of BIAB? I had a look at the following web page and discovered that build 242 is the latest version of 2007. http://www.pgmusic.com/support_windowsupdates.htm. Regards, Noel

Hi Noel, Only BB does not playback the BB recorded Wav file, so recording and playback vols are fine. I am downloading the latest version patch now, so will post back tonight after I see if that fixes my problems. Including now being able to install and run PTPro. Hi All, Noel Installing the latest build fixed my BB recorded wavs not playing back. Now they all playback fine. But now the Real Drums are losing sync with the wav vocal and the other BB Tracks. My soundcard is Creative SB Audigy 2 which gives a choice of 3 ASIO Drivers. Creative, SB Audigy and SB Audigy, two different ports. And yes, I have Creatives latest Vista Drivers. I will switch to midi drums later and see if same thing happens. I already mixed this project and burned it to CD in another music program, since I could not mix it in BB with the wav vocal sounding.
