We have, 3 albums so far and a 4th well under way for release this year, these are on all streaming platforms as well as Bandcamp (link in sig)and some videos on Youtube We build the songs in BIAB and then strip out the parts / instruments we can play, the three of us between us play guitars, bass & keys (MIDI instruments) and have a mate how plays pedal steel. Typically only drums and orchestral strings remain from the BIAB generated content, I export the drums as MIDI and then use a VSTi (Drummica, SSD5, MTPower) to split the kit up for better balance and individual treatment. Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
