Soooo is there software out there that will
Allow updating of Old Masters with new tracks synchronized.
Om ...that word "synchronized" is key! Yes! Start with SMP - it will identify all the chords in your "old master". Along with the key, timing and tempo. It will create a Tempo map which will come in handy when you want to insert midi tracks. It will then separate out the individual instruments as audio tracks (stems). It will create midi block chords as a separate track. Afer you have all this content, copy and paste it all to your DAW. That was the easy part. Once you are in your DAW now the fun begins - production and mixing. Dan

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
