Well, Andrew, I have read a few accounts that Gerry was locked in a hideous record deal and "Baker Street" was a story about breaking away from that. I don't know who came up with the idea of the percussion stick. It sounds as if it was a very poor way of saying "this is where a drum kit should be." I doubt that was the intention but still a bad idea.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
