Elaborate indeed! From what I can find out about 14,000 USD but only available in Japan for now. An specialized international retailer, Taro's Trade, can source one but on top of the basic price and shipping there is also import duty, additional tariffs, purchase tax or vat to take into consideration where applicable. And because the unit is 100 volt Japanese, they may require a voltage convertor to function in your local areas.
Still a fantastic instrument played by a true master.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
