Excellent song again, Bob, and Joliz' vocals are like the radio and other background noise, "Not loud enough to matter". I totally relate to the song, particularly the last verse as it reminded me of the 2nd of 3 great loves in my life, a lady who came back again in my 50s after 2 decades apart. I met her in 1980 in Romania where I was visiting paternal family and she still lives there, but after 20 years apart she flew to the UK and visited me at my previous address quite a few times. She was a lady whose one flaw was an inability to be straight - unless she was jealous and then she'd be fiery even when she misread things! - and the last time I saw her at my then home she just blandly said "This is the last time I'll visit", which I assumed meant I was next to visit her in Bucharest. A few days later I mentioned her to someone I knew and he replied, "Ah, yes, but that's all over now", so totally baffled I asked what he meant and he replied that the taxi driver who took her to the airport had told him that relationship was over! laugh "How easy it was for you / To not be there / And how easy it was / For me to be there"! Also baffling is that I recently discovered texts from her that are dated a couple of years later and all of them are Love, Love, Love, while now I can’t even recall receiving them! My 1981 song, "Aurora", which I've previously posted 2 BiaB instrumentals of, are about our first era of relationship, but if I wrote a song about the 2nd era, she'd be very, very peeved with me! laugh Your song brought it all back.
