Two things: first, the biggest detriment is that AI is destroying the ability to think critically, to solve problems, to be creative. People naturally look for the lazy easy way to make money and to just skate by. Second, it violates copyrights clear across the board by culling from works that have already been done. This is also a blatant insult to artists who have done their creations with human thoughts and hands in the first place. People who say, "I created a song using AI," did not create at all. And the music (actually marketing) industry are referring to these imposters as "music designers." We are living in Orwell's "1984," folks.
