KW, Brno, and Hans, many thanks for listening and replying! First of all, that's Cooper Moss on vocals. I cannot sing like that! Cooper Moss is from Scotland and moved to Nashville. He's a good friend of Robert Quigley, who I wrote the song with.

Knee W: I sure like the songs you post, too! Your songs are distinctive like Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Gordon Lightfoot are definitely distinctive, and you put chords together in ways I never would have thought of.

Brno: Cooper Moss is a terrific vocalist...expensive, too. The only reason I got to have him sing on it was his friendship with my writing partner, Robert. Disco is a different kind of genre for sure and I like much of it. It's not for everyone but it's like a beautiful exquisite symphony to me compared to rap or the buckshot methods of placing 32nd notes with too many motor mouthed lyrics followed by some 16th and 8th notes pop of Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, and Sabrina Carpenter! Now I sound like a grouchy old man sitting on a porch: "Now back in my day!...Hey, git yer [*****] dog offa my lawn you dang whippersnapper!" The Bee Gees really stood out with their melodic sense. Barry Gibb loved the Motown sounds and that's what he eventually went for and came out with an appealing sound that caught on. Another band mistaken for disco was funky KC and the Sunshine Band. Lyrics were simple, surface, and too casual and cavalier for my taste but his keyboard playing was amazing. His ability to write catchy tunes carried the songs.

Hans: We probably would have had to pay Cooper Moss a lot more if he did falsettos! I thought the Bee Gees were great from start to finish. From "Lonely Days," "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart" to "You Should Be Dancing," "Stayin' Alive," "Too Much Heaven," "You Win Again." Interesting idea about adding harmonies to the chorus! I'll look for anything on here that says Birchwood so I can listen to what you have.
