Link: My Song For You

So, after a couple of sad and depressing social critical songs, I decided to write a love song for a change.
Not exactly a happy love song, but it's a start.

It is about the tendency, especially at a young age, to idealize one's loved one despite all his/her/its imperfections.

And before you ask: no, the video has absolutely nothing to do with the music.
It was just a proof of concept for future videos.
But I learned a lot and kinda liked it, so now you have to suffer.

The lyrics are a re-write of a song I wrote in 2022 when I joined here.
Since I've learned a LOT since then (back then, I didn't even know anything about the circle of fifths shocked ), I decided to rewrite the entire song.
This time in 3/4, because it suits the mood better.
There are too few songs that aren't in 4/4 time anyway...

As always, when I decide to write something in 3/4, I immediately regret it.
Immediately as in "when I try the first RealTrack™ ".
There are too few that sound reasonably modern.

So I had to get my guitar out.
Again.
I'm not a guitarist.
My intonation is legendary.
I can make every guitar sound out of tune.

And I had to play and program the drums.
I'm also not a drummer.
I smell better!

And I had to play the piano and synthesizers.
Okay, I can play the piano a little.
I especially like the black keys, because the probability of accidentally hitting two keys with one finger is minimal.
It's not zero, though.

But I digress, here it is: My song for you
