Hi everyone, may I ask this question?
What would happen if you already install BIAB the latest version on your computer, and then you install RealTracks from a previous version of BIAB? As I understand, RealTracks sets are now organized as 101 sets, which is different from the 2007 or 2008 versions.
So what would happen if you like to install the data from the 2007 or 2007 versions on a computer which has the 2009 or 2010 version?

If you have no RTs on the computer it would then be available for the program to use. You may not have the latest patches so that upgrade are not there, so some features will not work as well. But for the most part they should work.
If you have the new RTs there, then you might want to be careful that you do not overwrite the newer versions, since the new release has the older RTs as well, so adding in is not needed.

My recollection is that Realtracks were not around when BIAB 2007 was on the market. I suspect that this means that if you install 2007 over the the top of a RT installation, you won't be able to access the RTs. As I said at the beginning, though, this is just my recollection, I might be wrong. If I was trying to access earlier versions of BIAB, I'd first install those earlier versions and then install 2010 over the top. That would work. What do you want to accomplish with you installation?

Hi, thank you for your prompt reply.
Let me describe my situation.
I used to have the Band in a Box 2008 UltraPak, but then I thought I lost the package. At the same time, my computer crashed, so I had to buy Band in a Box 2010.
Just last week, somehow I found the 2008 UltraPak in my brother's room. So I tried to install the RealTracks sets in the UltraPak onto the BIAB 2010.
But when I opened the BIAB, it seems to me that the RT sets are not there. They are installed in the bb/realtracks folders. But when I click on the What add-ons do I have page, then I didn't see them.

What version of 2010 did you buy and was it a full version on a USB drive?

Hi, I bought the Band-in-a-Box Pro with RealBand (E-delivery). And then I also bought one set of RealTrack add-on.

Hello, Is the readme file on your UltraPAK disc titled Band-in-a-Box 2008, or 2008.5? If it's 2008, then there was only one RealTracks set, and it's included with in your 2010 Pro version (and the current one is much better) - so you can ignore your old RealTracks disc(s). You should install the RealDrums though. Just make sure you are choosing the correct bb folder as your main installation directory, and you are choosing the correct 'Drums' folder for the audio files. You will want to install the full RealDrums update from our website. http://www.pgmusic.com/support_windows_realdrums.htm#RealDrums01-29FullIf it's 2008.5, that should have included the first 10 sets (or so) of RealTracks, and you can install those. Again, just make sure you're choosing the correct installation folders. As a final step, you should install the latest 2010.5 update patch http://www.pgmusic.com/support_windowsupdates.htm#304
