But I think Mario might say the following: (Ducking and running for cover) 😊 Is it possible to dig a ditch with a spoon? Yes Is it possible to hammer a nail with a rock? Yes Is it possible to grow without a teacher? Yes Is it possible to experiment with chord progressions using pencil and paper? Yes But if you want to dig well, hammer cleanly, grow deeply, and compose quickly, you choose the tools and supports that make the work faster, clearer, and more effective; especially when your time is a high priority. Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
