Floyd, I recreated your experience up to a point. Signed out, got the "something wrong" screen. Searched for the song like you did. Found it, clicked on Play. A sign up box appeared. Closed the sign up box (X in the upper right corner) and I could then play it.

Not the preferred listener experience, to say the least.

Hope they get it straightened out soon...

Thanks, Mick. Didn't repeat it in the original post, but all my lyrics come from my brother, and I use them verbatim. So if he writes something that looks like a bridge, the song I produce will have a bridge. This is not always an easy process, but I enjoy the puzzle-solving aspect of it.

Yeah, I think both "shin splints" and "eye floater" were lyrical firsts for me. His lyrics seldom sound like anyone else's, which I really enjoy.

Appreciate the listen!

This is a beautiful song and the lyrics are excellent. Wonderful imagery.

Some favourite Waoist Adages:
#1: Play on the Way.
#13: Ask not for whom the flower blooms, it blooms for you.
#58: Bring consciousness to it.
#63: On the road to effortlessness, effort must be made.
#92: Be Love Now, the rest will come on its own.

Hi Ron,
Well, I think all the compliments above are well deserved. You have a unique way of singing, with little pauses between the lines and a very beautiful pronunciation of the words. The melody is beautiful, the lyrics are fantastic, as is your voice. I do agree with Dave, you use more reverb than usual. Not bad at all, but be careful...

You asked if we could reflect on that bridge together. The first time I heard the song, I looked up in surprise. That's where your bridge begins. That means something unexpected happened (for me). I think that's where your struggle begins. It's the lyrics. Not the content, but too many (complicated) words in too short a time. That gave that bridge something awkward.
I listened to the song a few more times. Then it sounded more normal. I got used to it. But I'm curious if you recognize whether this could be it.

Hans

He's really pulled out all the stops with these lyrics. I love the idea of using a treadmill, running in place, and being focused on a spot on the wall while waiting to be reunited with someone special. This is a very clever scenario and your brother has been very inventive and creative with developing it.

This song is highly impressive on so many levels.

Gee, THANKS, Noel. Yeah, I feel a bit stupid for having missed the beauty of these lyrics for so long, but better late than never, right? Thank you as well for the kind comment on the vocals. I'm no "one take wonder" but I did achieve the result I was looking for. Glad I don't pay for studio time though. Ha!
