I already sent you a message on YouTube, but the song is so catchy I had to listen to it over and over again.
Your choice of instrumentation is fantastic. The washboard (is that what you call it?) sounds authentic and enhances the atmosphere of the song.
I really enjoyed it. Now I use the words "Chica Roja" all the time. My wife wants me to stop...

Thanks, Hans. I forget how the song developed; I'm usually more of an interested bystander as the song develops. I bet you mean the accordion or sqeezebox or a bunch of other names, but a washboard is actually a washboard played as percussion. Not in this one.

The story with melancholy mood, together with the captivating video, intoxicates any innocent mind, beautiful! You surely can mold curvaceous snapshots with your words and BIAB smile

Haha. Thanks, Janne. I always look forward to your comments. Haha -beans in a tortilla, and all that. I originally wanted a wierd, barker-type guys singing it, as if he's advertising the new town sensation, but...

Your vocals sound good - not weird at all.

Your video shows that Chica was having as much fun as those she was dancing for.
(Janice said she envisioned Charley dancing as she listened.😊)

Nice mix and bass glue.

FUN!

Thanks, JaniceAndBud. Ha! I'll send ya a vid of Charley dancing; you'll get a kick out of her partner.
