The minimum install usually works for me when I need to use this approach. This is the installation that uses the least amount of diskspace. It only loads the barest minimum number of files onto the computer that Windows needs to get the program running. The process includes writing to the registry, adding drivers and adding any needed folders to the c:\program files folder.

After running the minimum install, there would only be a minimum change in your used diskspace because the installation will overwrite existing files.

Also, after running the minimum install, you would probably need to reload the most recent update for your version of BIAB/RB.
