Thanks, Chris. That explains thing well.

The easiest way to get a 2-bar pick-up that you need is to begin the song at bar 2 (not bar 1).

1) Set the first half of bar 1 to rest everything using Shots, Holds and Rests in Chord Options (Alt+F5 in Windows or right click on the chordsheet and select it). You can also simply type C. on the chordsheet. The C chord won't play because the period after it tells the chord to rest.

2) Enter the G7 chord on beat 3 of bar 1.

3) You might also try clicking on the number 2 in bar 2 to add a part marker. This will tell BIAB to add a drum break before bar 2. (If you want to remove the part marker, just keep clicking the mouse on it until it returns to its non-partmarker state.

3) Generate the the song for the settings to be updated in the instrumental playback.
