Your vocals were fantastic - there were a couple of lower notes you sang that had a wonderful quality to them, and those BVs in parts sounded like those in 'Only living boy in New York' - took me back to 1979 when I first owned that album.
Going back for a third helping!

Thank you, Andrew. Those two guitars have very complimentary picking patterns, and I love the way they bounce off each other when panned opposite like this. Don't think this was an accident by the PGMusic folks either. Glad the bridge worked for you. I'm not always convinced...

Love Paul Simon, but did not ever own that album so missed this cut. On listening now, I see what you mean. It's a classic sound, isn't it? Love Paul's stuff. Fun fact (for me): In about 1974 I purchased a thick Paul Simon songbook, which featured the music for each of his duo and early solo albums. I'd only heard the obvious hits before, and didn't own any of his/their albums, so I learned all the songs in Paul's catalog by sightreading the sheet music and chord charts. So 50+ years later, I still do not know the RECORDING of "Only Living Boy in New York" very well, but I know the song itself and the arrangement Paul used (sans BGVs) quite well. Weird, huh?
