It as if somewhere along the way, visual transpose has been engaged.
The easiest way to reset this is simply to go to Options and select Return To Factory Settings (MOST).
In BIAB 2020, the actual setting is found under the "Chord Display" button. (You may need to press CTRL+T to toggle to the standard view to see this button.)
I agree that’s the first thing to check, if a transposition is in effect. But the mention of specifically three semitones means another possibility is a change in sampling rate from 44.1 to 48 KHz. Did you just change your audio interface?

There is a conflict between the input record at 48k and the play at 44K. I tried to align same via control panel but could not. I did not care too much and just lived with it until now. As suggested above, I reset to factory and issue resolved. Thanks for checking in. In a related matter, can we set A to 432hz from 440 with the latest BIAB incarnation?

Very good. I am not aware of how to change the program’s base pitch. I am aware of the arguments put forward for doing so, and this request occurs periodically.

To change the base pitch of the output, it's necessary to use a third-party plugin on the Master track. Biab does not have the ability to change concert pitch.
