Heard this song develop. I like getting the YT notice and listen as quickly as I can. I wait a few days to see it here, and listen again to hear if it's even better. Yep, I experience that with all your songs, Brain. Thanks for keeping in the loop of your progress, man, even though your English is better than mine.

Hi, BD. The melancholy music and the "doesn't make sense" lyrics work very well together. "It doesn't make sense to me" is a line that really sticks and is a very good hook through the song. It's the kind of songwriting our world needs now to show everyone what's really going on.

An excellent song with your usual impeccable production. Vocal sounded really good. To me, the lyrics are just vague enough that both liberals and conservatives might "claim" this song. I might be off base here. Perhaps neither side has a right to it. Not suggesting a conversation should start, of course. Thanks a lot for you kind feedback, Rob. In my opinion, it doesn't really matter which party forms the government, regardless of the country. It never makes sense

Love it, Brain, and not just cuz it's yours, although that IS a good reason. Love the lyrics. Outstanding production. You don't write songs; you write masterpieces. A treat for the ears, heart and mind. When it comes to "masterpieces", I tend to think more of my compatriots Bach and Beethoven, but who am I to know what people will think of my works in 200 years? (okay, I already know: Nobody will even KNOW my music) Anyway, thanks a lot, Marty

The song about not making sense makes a lot of sense. The lyrics tell the truth. And the fragility of the vocalis perfect for the message. You always do great work - no exception here.

That is the key point I take away from the song! The question is, who is the main manipulator? Pondering that leads to more confusion which leads us all further down the rabbit hole!
Lots of deep thought to be had pondering all the lines of the song!
The music is wonderfully and masterfully arranged and produced! You have once again done a tremendous job with your work!

Awesome production and a very, very solid write. Good song structure. Most interesting.
I still don't know what to think about AI music and AI vocals in particular, but I truly enjoyed my listen. Thank you for your kind words, Scott. When it comes to AI or non-AI, I'm quite simple-minded: either I like a song or I don't. I've heard AI vocals that moved me deeply and human vocals that left me completely cold. The fact that the world is swamped with bad AI songs/vocals is a different discussion.

Man, that immediately grabs you and doesn’t let go until the end of the last note.

Really strong lyrics, injustice of the world put into very sharp writing "since when is doubt a crime?". And great melody which the AI singer handles superbly like a young country singer. The band is excellent and the mix is very balanced. Not so dramatic song like I'm used to hearing from you, but it's still a very welcome addition to your collection of excellent pop songs with socially conscious message.

Excellent song. Very cool backtrack, vocal and productions. Being an instrumentalist I more gravitate to the melody in the vocal and the backtrack that wraps around the vocal. I really don't have to much time for politics today. Everyone is so intent to push their narrative by yelling and screaming at each other and the social media gurus powerfully pushing the propaganda . I miss the days of when two people with different opinions sat down across from each other and just talked and tried to sell the benefits of their ideas and maybe meet in the middle. Now the distance in the middle is about the distance from the earth to mars. I think you've summed up the (communication) problems on this planet pretty well. The way AI pronounced experts was odd and put me off for a moment of three.
I like the whole package but the weakest point for me is the generic indie female vocal...that's okay though it's certainly a vocal in keeping with the times. Are those synthetic mouth noises and clicks around the vocal? I'd be inclined to tidy those evn though they add to the impression of humanity.

Very cool lyric. Thanks for listening and your sharp ears, Ray To me (as a non-native speaker), it sounded fine until you mentioned it, but I have to agree that it could be better. The mouth noises were deliberately left in because the voice loses its humanity and (more important) innocence when it's edited (as I usually do) to sound perfect. But I highly appreciate your valid objection!

I liked the way the song begins with fingerpicked guitar and synth, then you brought in the piano on the pre-chorus, and then the drums on the chorus - it built up in intensity very impressively!
AI lead and background vocals were top-notch, and your lyrics did a fine job of summing up the dissatisfaction many of us feel with the current state of affairs.
