I suppose there are different areas of blues like there are different areas in every genre.
The type I hear around my local venues are mostly the 12 bar, rock.
I find that too samey to hold my attention. I need to hear imaginative lyrics and a melody.
Before I recorded this I did wonder how Janice would handle it.

Hi Vic. I really enjoyed listening to this song. A 12/8 feel always gets my attention. For me, verse 2 lyrics were a standout. There was a bar. There was a waitress.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
