Been travelling all day so missed a lot of the news on the Chilean miners, but just caught the last few hours of the rescue. Very, very emotional. The courage that man demonstrates in his rise to a challenge is phenomenal: the miners for being able to socially, physically, and mentally survive their ordeal of 69 days of entrapment; the rescue miners that willingly entered the shaft and went to the bottom to assist in the loading of the Phoenix; the teams of experts from various countries that willingly contributed their skills and assisted the Chileans; the Chileans from the President on down who truly believed they could do it; and finally you and me that watched these events with bated breath hoping for the best outcome.
