I tried to add some RealDrums to a project. I go to select RD's, audition them, then say "Generate". Each time I do it, I get an exception error. See error log and image below.

Additionally, in the RD dialog box, there is a button called "Install", which indicates that RD's must be converted to WAV first?!? I thought all the products now natively read the .WMV files without converting to WAV. Since PTPA shares the same RD folder as BIAB and RB, I don't want to increase my storage space. Or is this just legacy? The user manual states: "Install - this completes installation of any RealDrums styles by decompressing any WAV/MP3 files in the \drums folder that do not have a WAV file, or that have an older wave file." Also, there is no comparable picker window like RealBand has (which has additional information about each RD, not just the filename). Anyway, RealBand doesn't have that Install button.

Additionally, and I'll report it in the other forum, while looking at RealBand, when I try to geneate RD's there (not via a style), all it does is play the audition if I hit play, but it does not generate a drum track. I'll play with it some more.

The error log for generating a RealDrum in PTPA 2026 is:

Okay, I just went back and tried it in PTPA 2025 and got the same result. Hopefully someone else can test this out to see if it's just my machine or an actual bug. I tried this on my Window 11 laptop; I'll try it also on my Windows 10 desktop.

Hello,

I seem to have no issues with 2025, but I am getting crashes in 2026. This has been reported to development!

Thank you!
