I have tinkered with Suno, and the LyricsLab from our own Joanne Cooper. I can create a very nice sounding set of lyrics and turn that into very nice song in about 3 minutes. I can type in ideas, and even personal lyrics and have the software "refine" them and go from there. The thing i noticed is that the lyrics are kind of typical, or consistent. I get the same type of rhyming the same type of phrasing. I can choose to not have it repair it and stick with my lyrics. The music tends to all sound similar, no not the exact same you can vary the instructions or prompts but it is going to sing the song very close each time. I also noticed that there is only so much you can do to make it unique.

I look at it this way, use the tools as you use all tools to help you work out an idea and work it into a song. I see it getting better but never replacing personal creativity where our feeling live! I have created a dozen lyric file in AI but i always start with my thoughts and then go back and rework it to reflect me. I use BiaB the same way i create what i cannot play. Play what i can, and work hard to get my feelngs into the project.
