I firmly believe that The Beatles music will be played in one form or another for centuries. No different to the other great composers whose music has lived on, Vivaldi, Mozart, Bach and many more. It's a different genre, but is still instantly recognizable.
But in what form? My father refused to let me watch their appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show, but a decade later, I caught him, oblivious to the irony, whistling along with a Henry Mancini cover of one of their songs. My guess is that the Skynet AI will be generating sampled Silly Little Love Songs long after the terminators have wiped us out of existence.
