I wrote this song when I was thinking about the times when it just seemed to keep on raining and I was just wishing for it to stop. I'm sure many of you have felt the same way. My laptop with BIAB is being repaired so I can't put in the information about the style. I'm singing and adding a little guitar. Hope you like it. I HEAR THE RAIN UP ON MY ROOF, IT'S ANOTHER RAINY DAY BEEN RAINING ALL WEEK LONG, I'M GETTING CABIN FEVER, ST6AYING INSIDE MOST THE TIME ENOUGH'S ENOUGH, HOW LONG WILL THIS BE GOING ON BEEN READING BOOKS, WATCHING TV, MAKING CALLS TO FRIENDS BEEN DOING CROSSWORDS, CATCHING UP ON BILLS AND WHEN I RUN AN ERRAND...NEED AN UMBRELLA IN MY HAND I KNOW THE RAIN WILL STOP BUT SEEMS IT NEVER WILL I THINK I KNOW HOW NOAH FELT TO HAVE THE RAIN GO ON AND ON AND ON I KNOW THE SUN WILL SHINE AGAIN, BUT SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHEN IT'S BEEN WET AND COLD AND GLOOMY..... FAR TOO LONG EVEN THE WEATHERMAN SAYS HE DON'T KNOW WHEN IT'S GONNA STOP SEEMS ANOTHER FRONT'S ALREADY ON THE WAY NO SENSE COMPLAINING, DOESN'T DO MUCH GOOD JUST GOTTA HOLD ON AND BELIEVE THE SUN'LL COMES OUT ONE DAY

Cool, Sol. Rain. Good write. Strong vocal and stronger harmony. Man, your lyrics include all facets of rain, including Noah. Good feeling song in spite of the confinement it suggests.
As a photographer I'd say, "When it rains, shoot rain." I enjoy the rain --even thunder storms-- with no umbrella.

The topic of 'rain' has inspired a few songs, hasn't it! I've been interstate on a holiday and apparently it bucketed down here in Adelaide while I was gone - missed it by *that* much!
My mind immediately went to Boz Scaggs when playing your song. Love those BVs as well.

Another beautiful song. Living in Normandy, I preferred making music to getting a natural tan. It was safer, and cows prefer green grass to cacti.
