I'm trying to use a style called BGMEDLY.STY which is a bluegrass style with some built in soloists, depending on the part number. It plpays the banjo and mandolin solos fine, but the soloist files for the fiddle, RFid003.ST2 and (apparently) RFid006.ST2 are both missing. I've checked the solioist folder and they are indeed not there. It sems odd that the main style wouold be included but not the relevant soloists. It's also odd that the first time I ran it, it told me it was missing OO6, and the next time that I was missing OO3 but it may just mean different parts for the A/B styles. Has anyone else found style missing that should be there? Or can someone check and see if these files are in their folder, in which case I'll try a reboot of the whole program. I have emailed tech suport but no reply as yet. I'm on the latest 2026 Magapak version, Windows 10.
I played _BGMEDLY.sty with its associated demo. That is a whole barndance in one! It played with no intruptions or messages. I don't hear anything missing unless it is the kitchen sink.
Have you used an earlier version of BIAB or is 2026 your first version? Also, if you had an earlier version of the program, was this style working for you?
As a bluegrass musician have used this style many times in the past and love it. I loaded it again with both the demo and another bluegrass song I made last month and it plays just fine. I get all the parts exactly where they need to be.
I also checked for the 2 ST2 files and I have them in the Soloist directory.
You also mentioned that it played the Banjo and Mandolin solos just fine. You did not mention if it played the Guitar solo OK. Does that play? That would be Bar 17e and 25f
I can't find any problems.

As an afterthought, I renamed the file you mentioned, RFid003.ST2, to RRFid003.st2 and I do get the same error message. When I renamed it back to the correct filename, the error message goes away of course.

I believe that particular style was released in 2011 and was set 11.

I suggest that you use PG Music's Chat window to talk to someone directly at PG Music. It is possible that the Realtracks you are missing were not included in the MegaPak. (The MegaPak does not contain all the Realtracks.)
