Wow, I am stunned. Now I know how the fans at Newport felt when they heard Bob Dylan go electric. I always give bonus points for creativity, and this has creativity in spades. I'm a huge fan of your work, I hope that's been clear through the years. However, I'm still processing how I feel about this song. I think it's a bold piece of work, but part of me wonders if maybe - just maybe - there are one or two ingredients in the soup that weren't needed. I could easily be wrong about that. I like the grunge feel to it. I keep going back and listening to it, trying to fit it into my musical brain. Lyrics were great, that's not gonna change. I may do a second review in a week or so if I've any new thoughts. I love Captain Beefheart, so music that's different is fine by me. Maybe you've created a new genre, Bob, and the world needs to discover it - and I need to open my ears to it.
