The tender lyric and the driving rhythm of the band go together well.
That is an outstanding group of session players and a fine mix.
Like others, we too are happy that you had a complete recovery from your surgery.

Hi Ron, Marty, Torrey, Brain, Shigeki, Floyd and Scott E, I am incredibly late with my replies to your posts again. Sure, I have a thousand excuses, but my planning really isn't strong, it turns out. Anyway, thank you so much for your replies and for the time you spent on edge about the delay in mine. Here they are, after everyone's post. Hans, super song! Love your vocals/harmonies and the pulsing 3D stereo image. Cool, slithery harmonic and rhythmic arrangement. You've got those BiaB soloists tamed quite well, too.
I'd say your post-throat surgery vocals are as strong as ever, and maybe STRONGER... Hi Ron, thanks for your very kind compliments. And although I would never want to have such an operation again, at least I didn't lose my voice. That threat was there, though, so. As far as I'm concerned, the vocals are strong enough. Don't let them touch them again. Oh, man, I love this song. I remember the time you had throat surgery. I was with ya, buddy, and i'm still here. Yeah, i can hear the fiction in this one (something i wouldn't have detected in Dutch). Man, sure glad your throat surgery had no effect on your wonderful singing voice. Great production and a good write. Or good production and great write. You choose. In my opinion they're both great. Hello Marty, what nice words, man. Like that. I love the driving sound of this! Such a powerful groove. The real star of this production is the vocal work! I think is probably one of your very best! The harmonies sound so good! Great choices with the realtracks and the way you produced/mixed this!

This is a really nice driving sound.
Your vocals fit this song perfectly.
It's hard to believe this is the voice after throat surgery.
The lyrics, which are set in a car accident, are also wonderful.
