thanks so much for your encouraging words.
This must be the first time anyone’s ever complimented my voice, by the way. I’ve actually always loved to sing, but I never felt as though anyone liked it, which made me a bit shy about it. In my twenties, I played bass in a band, but we had a singer with a real rock voice; I was only allowed to sing “Message in a Bottle” because I could hit the high notes (back then), otherwise I was at best part of the background chorus.
Essential: Band-in-a-Box. DAW: Reason (formerly GarageBand). Interface: Focusrite.
I only wish I had had all this stuff available when I was young …
