Trying to guess here. Are you talking about when switching views, screen is not centered at the position that you were working in previous view?

Or the actual waveform "image" looks different from what you would expect it to be if you are on the correct location/position of the view you are saying it is visually out of sync?

One simple "trick" to check is to detach view (Ctrl+ click on view button) in question and see if cursor moves properly where it visually should on detached view.
