DON'T THROW IT ALL AWAY

This song came to me in a dream from which I woke up and remembered the melody and the first couple of lines. I immediately put what I remembered on a voice recorder. For those who would care to look the message/explanation of the song is revealed in Jeremiah 17:9, Ezekiel 36:26, Romans 8:28 and 2 Corinthians 5:17. The BIAB band carried most of this one! I guess the genre would be something like Bluegrass/Pop-Rock/Gospel. Thanks for having a listen.

Life is a gift we open each day
Oh don't throw it all away
We give up on love if we don't get our way
Oh don't throw it all away

The heart of the problem
Is the problem of the heart
You know you just can't trust it
You say, where do I start?
Take the Good Book hear what it has to say
Oh don't throw it all away

The bottle is deep
But it's never deep enough
Deep enough to wash all your guilt away
The storms of your life
Rage in your soul
Oh don't throw it all away

The heart of the problem
Is the problem of the heart
You know you just can't trust it
You say, where do I start?
Take the Good Book hear what it has to say
Oh don't throw it all away

Your family is young
But you're not done having fun
Oh don't throw it all away
You've made them feel small
Just to make yourself tall
Oh don't throw it all away

The heart of the problem
Is the problem of the heart
The Word says it's deceitful
It has been from the start
Take the Good Book hear what it has to say
Oh don't throw it all away
