another trick is say designate tracks 100 to 200 in rb as muted dupe tracks.
this way if you want to say ensure track 9 is not lost dupe it to track 109..
and mute...see what i mean ? so you can recover.
big note..a big studio producer once said to me 'if you cant do your song
in 40 tracks...question whether the song should be done at all'.
(except orchestra productions with many players)

so you could designale tracks 1 to 40 the original tracks and 100 to 140
the saved dupes.
in case a prob with undos.
