Great intro to the fine write.
Nice open mix.
You and the session guys set up an excellent soundstage.
Glad you didn’t give in to the vocal hesitancy.
They sound fine.

Enjoyed it,

J&B

Yeah, I've got one of the best studio bands in the world.... Every now and then, the words just seem to fall together when you don't overthink it and write from the heart.

Thanks for listening.

No, first of all, I want to tell you (like others before me) that you've written a really great song.
It's entertaining, the lyrics evoke longing for things like you described and more, but the singing... Herb, that voice is truly "golden."
I initially thought it had to be AI, but then I read that you sang it yourself.
I think it's fantastic!
So I end my post by saying you're truly a lucky man!

Hans

Thanks Hans you're trying to get on my good side by saying I sound as good as an AI singer.... But I will take that compliment any day of the week.

Glad you liked it.

Thank you for mentioning the melody. I'm glad you liked the song

Herb, I understand about "keeping with the plan". It's hard to beat the sound of the realtracks unless there's some sophisticated syncopation going on! The track sounds fabulous! Good to hear actual human singing going on. Your Vocal sounds better than any AI stuff that could have been put on it!
Great song!
Take care, TB

My favourite line:

Vocals are terrific - you sound like a lucky man.
Cheers,
Mike

I kinda like that line too. Thanks for listening

I kinda referenced exactly what you're saying in my recent song Outlaw Music, in the 3rd verse.
