This is related to the question Andrew just answered. I recall something about BIAB now being able to have consistent MIDI control settings from style to style -- in other words, you can set your volume, pan, reverb, etc., to what you want, and then when the style pops in, they don't change.

First, I don't seem to be able to do that. Which is a real pain. I export to a DAW, and I don't want BIAB to set my pan and reverb. And the style volume changes seem to be negligible, except maybe for drums.

Second, going through the several places in Preferences where you can turn on or off such MIDI CCs, a few too many of them tie volume, reverb, panning, and chorus together. And they often counter one another.

And it resets everything when I leave the program and come back to it and reload my saved song. That's really frustrating.

Wouldn't it make sense to have either one and only one Pref setting to deal with those individually, or have something in the dialogue that pops up when you click on the number to change it that allows you to lock it, with check boxes both for the style (necessitating a Save Style dialogue) and globally? And maybe the number could be, I dunno, blue when it's locked. Just something to not have to wade through all the Prefs, only to find out you've just reset everything for naught.

And, if I'm missing something obvious... please tell me. I'm happy to play the idjit here, if there's something straightforward I've been missing.
