Very well done, Chay and Lucy. Good write, and the instrumentation you chose and the way you mix everything is Goldilocks good. Man, you pack your creations with so many wonderful ingredients.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Chay,

It is cool to hear vocals to what was previously "an instrumental".
Adds a new dimension that elevates the track further.

Chay, Lucy was the icing on the cake for this masterpiece.
As usual everything is spot on.
Loved this instrumentation.
The mix was perfect.
Loved it

Thanks, Brno. This song began as an instrumental with my original cycle of chords followed by the lullaby chords and so on, so the intro could have only been made shorter by changing the opening chords cycle, which would have spoilt the symmetry, But for the intro isn't too long due to it being stepped.

Chay.

The vocal part has a very memorable melody and the contrast with the musical instrumental parts is interesting.
Lucy's vocals fit this song really well.
I thought it might be good to take out just the vocal part and make it into a song for children.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

Thanks Shigeki! Regarding "it might be good to take out just the vocal part and make it into a song for children", did you meant make it an instrumental? If so, it began as and instrumental and was posted earlier:

That is an epic production and we agree with all the comments about the arrangement.
We much like the vocal -- perhaps because Janice is also a contralto. smile

No need to parse it out. We'd rather watch it again.

Happy Holidays,

Those strings match well with the timbre of the vocalist. The instrumentation matches the light feeling of the melody. Good work!

Chay, this is a pleasant tune, bouncy and yet ethereal, almost something like an Enya composition.

Took a second listen to this and had a whole different take on it. The vocal is quite delicate and very appealing! At first, I was concerned it didn't fit the rock instrumenation, but that concern was cast aside this time. Great finished production!
