I guess I’m in way over my head.

I probably should clarify what I’m trying to do here.

I probably won’t write any midi music in real band.

What I probably will do is write music in band in a box and then move that over to real band for further attention. (“Butchery” might be a better word.😝)

So I might end up working with mid files or real tracks or both in Real Band.

To date, I installed the VST 64 item that was mentioned.

I guess there’s another step called “sound fonts“. I didn’t do that yet because I don’t know if that will make a difference to what I am doing. Does it?

So let’s say I get the sound fonts issue all sorted out. I imagine I have to set the midi output settings or something somewhere.

If that’s the case, exactly how would I change those settings. They seem pretty complicated and confusing to a layman.
