I also have a Roland SD50 running with Windows 10. Since Roland never developed drivers for Windows 11, I have come up with some hardware system designs which will allow continued use of the SD50 with a Windows 11 system. See the attached images.

Configuration #1 illustrates how the SD50 functions under Windows 10 for both MIDI and audio.
Configuration #2 shows a hardware way to continue to use the MIDI generator of the SD50 using the PC's internal audio system.
Configuration #3 shows how to add a new USB PC interface and continue to use the MIDI generator of the SD50 along with a new external sound module.

You might also want to read the Coyote DXI Synth thread over in the Beginner's Forum. It has some useful information if it is desired to go to a software solution that would follow the GM/GM2 specification.
