Don't think it's supposed to work like that. But the way it's SUPPOSED to work does not appear to be working either.

Even though the mouseover popup for the Generate button in the StylePicker states that it "plays the song from the current location" it does not do that for me. The song starts from bar 1.

If I wanted to do what you are trying to do, I'd probably create a new BiaB file with just the transition starting at bar 1, then use the Generate button in StylePicker. Once I found the style I liked I'd revert back to the full song file. Yes, it's a workaround.

Honestly, there are lots of ways to do many BiaB functions, and I would not be surprised if others have a more elegant suggestion or two.
