Hi Bob and Joliz!
This song is really good. I love your choice of muted acoustic which acts in part to aid with the percussion; that fine e-piano and the vocal ooos sitting nicely underneath all. Is that you playing the solo on your Collings? If so, a really fitting tone and melody - so glad it came back several times!

The chorus title ‘Come back home’ - you sing it as a plea, which is what one would do in the story, so that’s a highlight of this song - I can hear it in my mind as I’m typing. It’s like the verses serve to remind the singer of all the things he’s missing and reminders of what they once had, as evidenced by all the things around, until the point where he can’t hold it in and he has to release his unrestrained plea: ‘Come back home!’.

This is your best as far as I’m concerned.
