Tamed well enough indeed.  Yea! A happy ending love song! Your vocal was great at creating the longing and hopefulness of the song’s fella. The video’s characters reminded Janice of Toy Story’s Woody and Jessie with their smiles. Cool! As always, a strong band with great performances by you. And Dave’s guitar was icing on the cake. Nice mix and, man, your bass cuts through perfectly. So many mixes are missing that. Enjoyed it, J&B Thanks, Janice & Bud. Good, Woody & Jessie was the right idea. Sometimes i worry if the bass is too loud cuz i'm too proud or something, but usually there's nothing to be proud of. "Sitting in..." has trouble rising about the end of the intro.
After that this a well mixed and arranged classic of the Straubs.
Fab vocal, smooooooth bass holding things together and Dave doing his usual support/starring role.
ACE Hi, Ray. Thanks. Ha, should've made him stand. i always say "starring" Dave. You don't want to hear these without him in them. Got a chuckle from your granddaughters comments. Great song. Super vocal and lyric and love how the bass carries the groove. Dave's guitar work was excellent. Well done.... Thanks, Scott. We never would've thought anything like Charley did if we heard this song in the 50s or 60s. When I first saw the sing title, I thought, "Oh no, not another peeping Tom song!"  Very nice melody. One of your best. Nice 50s flavor, but more musically sophisticated. You are such a hopeless romantic, you old geezer. Thanks, Scott. Peeping Tom? Heck, even Charley didn't mention that one. Now that was really enjoyable. The minute I heard the 12/8 rhythm, you got me! I love lilt that comes with compound signatures. You created and mixed a great band to show off your talents, too. Excellent songwriting that entertained me on a number levels. You have a creative flair that I envy. I'm a fan!
