Even before I began playing the song I was once again so impressed by the poetry in the lyrics. Just that 1st verse alone could be a short poem in its own right. (I've written a lot of minimalistic poetry, including haikus and what I call parahaikus, which are always 17 syllables, but not the 5-7-5 format). I also love the arrangement, particularly the guitar solo following the 1st chorus, then the quieter following verse. 2 choruses after that was exactly what it needed. Joliz' BVs as always completely complement your lead.
Bizarrely, I awoke to a dream today, which was sort of semi-visual, semi-telepathic in which Joliz said something very positive to me about me, but also about yours and her attitude! I won't write what it was as I think you both symbolised another couple I know, or perhaps archetypal inner world contents. Whatever, it was great to wake up to some very positive words!
