OK for all of you who have tried KX only to be confronted with a huge layout of boxes with 100's of lines drawn between them here is my setup. Very basic. Very powerfull.
I use 8 pairs of outs to my Hardware mixer. To take advantage of all of the outs you need this cable: Creative Home Theatre Cable
1. Band is wav 0,1 from RB through an EQ & gate and out to the mixer through epiloglt_k2.
2. Kick is wav out 2,3 from RB through an EQ & gate and out to the mixer through epiloglt_k2
3. Drums is wav out 6,7 from RB through an EQ & gate and out to the mixer through epiloglt_k2
4. effects send is in from the line in of the card through EFX reverb and out to the mixer effects return through epiloglt_k2.
Note: the aux send from the Hardware mixer provides signal to the line in. Effects send is also connected to gain HQ and then on to the Recording pins of epiloglt_k2.

This whole thing can be save as a setup. You can then clear the board and create another setup for something different and save it. on & on and then load whatever setup you need at the time.

If I had a mixer with more inputs I could pan inst in RB so that I could use the HW mixer for 6 mono inputs insted of 3 stereo inputs.

The other nice side thing with KX is all of these outputs are WDM. I don't have to mess with ASIO as some other cards require.
Hope this helps.
