The purpose is to mark the changes between verses and choruses, and such, if you place a A or B part marker on the last measure of a verse the program will build a drill fill and substyle change going into the next verse or into a chorus part. Most use A styles from verse to verse, and B styles from verse to chorus.
TRy this do a 8 bar song with a two bar Intro, maybe a C D intro, then G C D G G C D G one chord per bar. Then on the 1st bar put an A marker. then on the third bar another A marker then on the 5 bar an B marker then hit play And let it loop three times. Listen to the changes on the bar markers.
