I just create a new folder on the desktop, name it with the song title, and save all the files for that project in there. I also add sub folders as needed for things like stems or anything else. My workflow is like Herb's workflow. The only difference is that the folder that I save my files on is on my D drive; I save directly to the D drive, not to my desktop. I use the same current year method also.
