Michael,

I've just been playing around in Realband and creating a loop that you can use as a metronome.

If you have a look under the "Render" menu, there is an option for Acidizing audio. This option is used to create audio files that are stretched or shrunk to fit the tempo and pitch-shifted if needed. (Drums do not need pitch-shifting/transposing.)

The zip file below contains a 1-bar wav file that I acidized in Realband. The original tempo of the file was 100 bpm. I put the audio into \bb\Realtracks\Loops. Once in the Loops folder, I loaded the wave into BIAB using the loop menu (with the settings I've highlighted below).

BIAB then created two instruction files (bt1 and bt6) to accompany the wave file. These are also in the zip file below.

If you copy the wav, bt1 and bt6 files and put the three of them in \bb\Realtracks\Loops, you will be able to use this file as a metronome. It will speed up and slow down according to whatever tempo you adjust BIAB to.
