For me that era was the sweet spot in a lot of country music
60's & 70's.
Plenty of classics from before that, I will not argue.
After 1980 fewer and further between.

As Tom T. Hall. wrote in 1982 "There ain't no country music on this jukebox".
Who could have said it better than the StoryTeller.
