Thanks for this post. I've been wanting a hotkey or other easy solution for playing a song from the beginning without having to use the space bar. "F4" is the solution that I "discovered" from the pdf in your post.

Until now, when I'm creating or modifying a song, I set the preferences to press the space bar to blank out a chord. Then I have to use the mouse to go to the start and then click on the transport to play the song. At some point in time, usually when done editing or creating I change the preferences back to press the space bar to start the song. I've always thought there has to be an easier or more efficient way to do my thing, but now I know that there is. F4 starts the song at the first bar no matter what the space bar preference is set to. That makes it much easier and more convenient for me.
