Hello PG Team,

First of all: When I start Band-in-a-Box from the external SSD, the version “bb2026_mac_update_build1003” appears to work perfectly, as far as I can tell so far.

Because I sometimes find it easier to open saved files from the internal hard drive, I also installed the main programs on the internal hard drive and set the external SSD as the location for RealTracks and RealDrums. However, when I go to Styles and run “Rebuild,” the RealTracks list is empty, except for a handful of organs. This means that, in a song, I would not be able to add an additional track or replace an existing one.

Is there a solution for this?

What I also find very disappointing, by the way:

I have purchased every upgrade to the Audiophile version for almost 20 years. The latest upgrade to the 2026 version seems to be a “light” version that deletes previously purchased data. For example, all of my MIDI SuperTracks had disappeared. I was able to download and install them from my account under the 2025 version, but what else was deleted? With such a large number of files, it is almost impossible for me to keep track of everything.
In 2025, I purchased the Audiophile version online, and it seems to me to be identical to the hardware version. So why is the online version a “light” version that deletes previously purchased data?

Regards

Nomi
