Your review of musical tastes in the U.S. is perhaps a LITTLE harsh. I get your point, and I don't listen to much "popular' music myself for the reasons you list. But the U.S. posters in our little microcosm of a forum haven't posted songs on any of the topics you list. Well, except the occasional happy ending.
