This was written and recorded back in 2010 as a collaborative write with Pat Bishop.

It popped up on my social media this morning.

I Will Run To You

I don't remember the details other than I'm singing and playing the guitar.

Thanks for listening.

Note: the video was done by Pat. The audio version is on my website.

Good write. The lyrics are a cool, humble prayer. The band sounds great --not just those guitars. Organ and fiddle all say the right thing and the right time. Love that solo. Are playing the pedal steel? Of course, the vocal is the real inspiration. Well done, Pat & Herb.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Thanks but I'm only playing the guitar on this old tune.

Very nice production. Sounds clean and professional. Good lyrics too.
An exceptionally comforting and easy listening country Christian song.

Loved your vocal, violin, organ, pedal steel guitar and your guitar solo.

Hey, Herb. You craft your melodies very well: easy to follow, easy to remember, and your lyrics are universal yet sound fresh. Your relationships, personal, spiritual, and the countryside you live in, sounds genuinely personal and conversational that puts the heart into your songs. Your musicianship and use of Band in a Box outstanding. I also listened to "Give Me the Country Please," also very well crafted and easy to relate to, as I've lived in cities and am in a half-city half-rural area...lots of hills, trees, at the edge of a city of 58,000, but far more peaceful than Phoenix! Anyway, I admire how you make your music which is very well done.

Hi Herb, this is an outstanding Christian country song. Great backing band and mix. Super vocal and outstanding lyrics-brilliant work Pat. I am glad that you shared this oldie but goodie.

That's really good. Love the vocals. Kinda makes me think of something Marty Robbins would have sung.

Well done. Has all the Real Tracks mojo I dig. Add in your vocals and guitar and you've got a fine song on your hands.
