Tis tedious if you want anything that's any good. Just enter the style maker: styles/stylemaker/make new style.
Once you've done this click the radio button for the inst. you want to make. Now you have a grid were you store each pattern. Click on one of the boxes so it turns blue. Click on the pattern edit button,just to the right of the red record button.At the top of the next sheet click on the "editable notation mode" button. Enter 2 measures worth of data. When finished hit save and enter the necessary data. Move on to the next.
You should also listen/view the tutorial.
